About Puppy Dash

Thanks for visiting my website. It means a lot to me that you’re here.

I’m a Christian in my thirties, gay, and writing under a pseudonym while working a not-so-everyday job. I surf, I ride a motorbike, I’m an uncle, a brother, a son and a friend. I’ve studied biblical Hebrew and lived in Israel after graduating from high school. Jewish tradition and thought has had a profound impact on my understanding of scripture to this day.

I’m also a pup. A kinkster. A guy who finds great pleasure in being bound, whipped, and being submissive to my master’s will.

How does this all come together?

It’s been a long journey, with lots of self-reflection, self-discovery, and even some self-bondage along the way.

I grew up Christian and my parents taught me to read the Bible and have a personal relationship with God. As a teenager, I was fascinated by eschatological and prophetic books in the Bible and I took an interest in theology in general. But underneath all that knowledge, I was a person who thought he knew a lot and became conflicted with feelings he could neither explain nor control.

After years of cognitive dissonance — wrestling with same-sex attraction, trying to pray it away, fostering self-doubt and self-hatred — clarity broke through. I finally understood that God calls me to fully trust in His grace, and to truly believe that in my weakness His power will be strong.

Since then, I’ve been learning to love myself and appreciate my otherness. I believe that by sharing my story, I can be a hint of hope to others.

Short bio (for press use)

Puppy Dash is a gay Christian author writing about the intersection of faith, kink, and identity. With a background in biblical Hebrew, Jewish and Christian theology, he brings unusual theological depth to a subject rarely addressed from within the Christian tradition. His debut memoir, Faith and Fetish, traces his journey from evangelical self-suppression to a grace-rooted embrace of his full identity — as a believer, a gay man, and a kinkster. He writes under a pseudonym from somewhere in Europe. Contact: contact form
